As our children go back to school during the pandemic, we ask ourselves how this will affect them in the long term.
For those kids who will actually go to a school, how will they deal with the anxiety and possible carelessness of their classmates, teachers, or other staff?
What can we do as parents to keep them safe, besides keeping them at home? How can we make sure that schools are taking the necessary precautions?
According to the CDC, each community has been left to develop strategies that will best suit their needs.
At one of our local schools, there are temperature checks every morning, there is a symptoms questionnaire before kids go into school, everyone wears masks, they eat inside the classroom, and social distancing is encouraged as much as possible, but…they are kids.
